According To Manny Machado, The Padres Have No Chance To Win The NL West

The San Diego Padres wrote Manny Machado a $300 million check this offseason to be the cornerstone of their franchise. It’s a move that I said over and over again that I would have never made. I think it’s a fair statement to acknowledge that fact that Machado is a total scumbag. It’s just in his DNA. Well, this next clip I’m going to show you only prove I’m right.

How do you think the Padres feel after their $300 million player wrote the team off in March? HA HA HA! That’s the spirit Manny! Giving up in Spring Training. I love it. But hey, fans shouldn’t give up hope of getting that one game wild card! What an absolute joke.

This is exactly why I wanted no part of Machado. Total waste of talent. It’s obvious he came to San Diego because they were the highest bidder, not because he wanted to win. That’s the type of guy he is. Won’t hustle on the base paths but will try to take out your Achilles at first base. Can’t be a lazy f*ck and be a dirty player at the same time. That just makes you the scum that he is.

He is right about one thing. The Padres stink. They were a last place team with Manny Machado and probably aren’t much better. They still don’t have a pitcher on the roster worth more than a bag of chips. Machado, 26, does have all the talent in the world. He’s one of the best defensive third baseman in the sport. He also put together a batting line of .297/.367/.538 in 2018. It’s just the other bullshit that makes him a cancer. Hopefully, for Padres fans, he grows out of this nonsense.
