I’m back for week 13 Chick’s Picks! This week we have our Thanksgiving games and BIG games for playoff scenarios. Last week, I went 6-8, YIKES. To be fair, I picked some upsets that didn’t work out, as the Giants over the Bears and the Bengals over the Steelers. But that’s okay, it is a new week and therefore, new picks. Let’s get into Chick’s Picks!

Bears @ Lions

The Detroit Lions (3-7-1) are hosting the Chicago Bears (5-6) in our first Thanksgiving game for week 13. The Lions are not as bad as they seem. Matthew Stafford hasn’t played in weeks, not the easiest schedule, and now they are on to their 3rd string QB. Things are not looking good for the Lions (winning wise) however, they are looking at a better draft pick every loss they get. I would shut down Stafford for the season and tank. The Bears haven’t been playing well, but they have been winning barely. However, the playoff picture for the NFC is pretty much set. It would take many miracles to get the Bears in. Mitch Trubisky will be bad, Bears defense will win the game for them against the Lions 3rd string QB. They’ll move to 6-6…for no reason.

Final Prediction: Chicago Bears 21, Detroit Lions 13

Bills @ Cowboys

The Buffalo Bills (8-3) are being hosted by the Dallas Cowboys (6-5) in the second Thanksgiving game for week 13. Before the season, this matchup would have seemed lackluster, but now this is a great matchup for Thanksgiving. After a boring first Thanksgiving game, this will surely make up for it. The Bills defense is one of the best in the business, however, their offense leaves to be desired. The Cowboys have a complete roster but the time is ticking for Jason Garrett. It is Super Bowl or bust for Jason Garrett. He will get fired if he doesn’t win the Super Bowl. Now in desperation mode after a tough loss last week, watch the Cowboys come out firing to make a statement win and maintain first place in the NFC East.

Final Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 23, Buffalo Bills 16

Saints @ Falcons

The New Orleans Saints (9-2) are traveling to Atlanta to take on Falcons (3-8) for the last game on Thanksgiving for week 13. The New Orleans Saints are rolling and now have a chance to redeem themselves after an embarrassing loss to the Falcons weeks ago. I will be choosing against the Saints again, as to please Dan Louis, so the Saints win if I pick against them. The Falcons had two impressive wins and then lost to Bucs last week. As I would pick the Saints regularly, the Falcons have to be the pick for the tradition. It’ll be the Falcons passing game vs the Saints secondary. Pretend the Falcons will win

Final Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 27, New Orleans Saints 26

Browns @ Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) are hosting the Cleveland Browns (5-6) in a game that could have big playoff implications. Both of these teams seem this game as a must-win game. The Browns need to win to stay relevant in the AFC Wild Card race, if they lose, their chances get much smaller. Hopefully, their tandem of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt is enough to beat them. The Steelers have the injury bug still with James Connor and Juju out. I find this game very hard for them to win. Devin Hodges is an immediate upgrade over Mason Rudolph. It’s clear that Rudolph wasn’t the long-term option. Browns have seemed to find their groove, let’s see if they can capitalize on it to stay alive in this tight AFC race.

Final Prediction: Cleveland Browns 23, Pittsburgh Steelers 17

Packers @ Giants

The Green Bay Packers (8-3) are being hosted by the New York Giants (2-9) in this matchup. This one doesn’t require much analysis, the Packers should roll over the Giants easily. However, last week’s performance either shows how inconsistent the Packers are, or how good the 49ers are. Either way, that game was bad and forgettable for the Packers. They’ll get some confidence back this week by blowing out the Giants. The Giants are still tanking this year, we will see how they end up in the draft order as it is changing every week.

Final Prediction: Green Bay Packers 31, New York Giants 17

Eagles @ Dolphins

The Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) are traveling to Miami to take on the Dolphins (2-9) in a big game for the Eagles this week. I am just going to say it, despite my website having plenty of Eagles fans, the Eagles are on upset watch this week. They’ve had a couple of bad games and the confidence is at an all-time low. While I still think that the Eagles will win, this game will be closer than people think. With the Eagles Secondary and WR Core being so bad, there’s not a lot going for the Eagles. Despite all this, the Eagles are only one game out of first place. If they can take care of business here, and the Cowboys lose to the Bills on Thanksgiving, they are right back in the NFC East race.

Final Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 28, Miami Dolphins 24

Buccaneers @ Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) in this game. The Jaguars have no playoff implications as their chances went from slim to none after losing last week. Sure, they could win 5 straight and have a chance, but I just don’t think so. The Buccaneers’ passing game is flourishing only because of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Jameis Winston is now at 20 INT for the season, he is just a bust. If they had a better QB there, that team would be in the playoffs right now. The rest of the Buccaneers is pretty meh. Their defense is young and improving, not the best run game. This game is just a meh game altogether. Give me the Bucs though.

Final Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, Jacksonville Jaguars 23

Titans @ Colts

The Tennessee Titans (6-5) are being hosted by the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) What a big game for the AFC South in week 13. Not only are both of these teams fighting to win the division, but they’re also fighting for a Wild Card spot. While a loss doesn’t make them out, this is still a game both of these teams would like to have under their belt for tie-breaker scenarios. The Titans are rolling right now with Ryan Tannehill (TanneGOAT). I don’t expect that to change. They have all the momentum right now as I get a meh vibe from the Colts. They have only won 1 game in the last 4 games. They need to figure it out fast but I will take the momentum that the Titans have right now to put them in a favorable spot for the playoffs.

Final Prediction: Tennessee Titans 24, Indianapolis Colts 20

Jets @ Bengals

The New York Jets (4-7) are traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals (0-11) in this matchup. First of all, fuck the Jets. I expected them to give the Raider trouble but I wasn’t expecting a blowout. With that being said, the Jets are rolling right now and the measly Bengals aren’t going to stop that. The Bengals had their chance to win last week with the Injury-plagued Steelers and couldn’t get it done. This game doesn’t require much analysis, the Jets will blow these guys out. The Bengals might actually go 0-16 but their chances to win a game is better with Andy Dalton.

Final Prediction: New York Jets 34, Cincinnati Bengals 17

Redskins @ Panthers

The Carolina Panthers (5-6) are hosting the Washington Redskins (2-9) in this matchup. The Panthers are a better team than the Redskins, there’s no doubt about it. The Redskins have no answer for Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers have had a couple of rough games but they’ll get their confidence back up with a win here. Too little too late I am afraid as the NFC Playoffs are pretty much set. The Redskins won a nice game last week against the Lions, despite who the Lions QB is. But they’ll be back in the losing column again. This doesn’t require much analysis, it is common sense who is gonna win.

Final Prediction: Carolina Panthers 34, Washington Redskins 20

49ers @ Ravens

The San Francisco 49ers (10-1) are being hosted by the Baltimore Ravens (9-2) in a game that could be the Super Bowl preview and honestly, the game of the year so far in week 13. The 49ers put the league on notice by routing the Packers to assert their dominance. While the Ravens did the same thing against the Rams. To analyze this game, I would say that the Ravens have a more explosive offense than the 49ers, while the 49ers have a better defense than the Ravens. This game could go either way. For me, the deciding factor for this game will be coaching. That is where the 49ers have the edge. However, Lamar Jackson is hard to coach against, especially with how versatile he is. He could be the best dual-threat QB since Vick. I like both teams for separate reasons. Sigh, okay, I will pick the 49ers in this one, but man am I excited to watch this game.

Final Prediction: San Francisco 49ers 31, Baltimore Ravens 30

Rams @ Cardinals

The Los Angeles Rams (6-5) are traveling to Arizona (3-7-1) to take on the Cardinals in this game. This game no longer has playoff implications as the Ravens made the Rams their bitch. They’re essentially out of the playoff race and now are just playing games for paychecks. The Cardinals have one of the more explosive offense this year but their defense continues to hold them back. If they had any type of defense, I would heavily consider taking them here. But I think the Rams have an overall better team. The Cardinals will give them a run for their money but Sean McVay is still a genius no doubt, he can carry Goff to a win here.

Final Prediction: Los Angeles Rams 34, Arizona Cardinals 31

Chargers @ Broncos

The Los Angeles Chargers (4-7) are being hosted by the Denver Broncos (3-8) in this AFC West Matchup. I still don’t think the Chargers are as bad as their record suggests. They have a plethora of injuries this year and some bad losses. However, here they are, out of the playoff race. They now play the Broncos who have been a mess since the beginning of the season. I have no doubt the Chargers will win this one. The Broncos have only won games that they should have won. This is simply a game they shouldn’t win. Either way, a loss isn’t too bad for either team because it helps them in the draft order. Give me the Chargers in this one.

Final Prediction: Los Angeles Chargers 23, Denver Broncos 16

Raiders @ Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) are hosting the Oakland Raiders (6-5) in a battle for the AFC West and a playoff spot in week 13. The Raiders were embarrassed last week. Like the smallest penis in the locker room embarrassed (not that I have been that guy….) by losing by 31 to the Jets. For a team people considered lately as a playoff team, this just shows the Raiders are still the Raiders. The Raiders have a chance to redeem themselves and make a statement win here against the Chiefs. However, even though I am a Raiders fan, I just don’t think it’ll happen. The Raiders secondary is still as bad as the first time they played, maybe even worse. The Chiefs offense is too much for the Raiders to handle. Hell, I predict 5 TDs for the talented Patrick Mahomes. All the same way, a busted coverage and over the top passes for scores. Funny how I know what will beat the Raiders and they can’t do anything to stop it. The Chiefs will handle business and make the AFC West theirs once again this year. I Pray to God I am wrong though.

Final Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs 38, Oakland Raiders 27

Patriots @ Texans

The New England Patriots (10-1) are traveling to Houston to take on the Texans (7-4) in our week 13 Sunday Night Football Matchup. The Patriots defense is stout and wins them a lot of games. I expect the same outcome here. Even though Tom Brady has declined, the Patriots defense is so good, no one has really noticed. Against a less than average defense like the Texans the Patriots offense should have their way with them. Even though this game screams a great game because of Deshaun Watson and Tom Brady, it’ll be another win for the Patriots, an easy one at that. By the Texans losing, the AFC South gets more interesting as it becomes tighter and the division winner becomes more ambiguous with each passing week. Each team could take it, but the Texans could cut all that noise with a win. Bad News for the Texans when they lose this week.

Final Prediction: New England Patriots 24, Houston Texans 18

Vikings @ Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks (9-2) are hosting the Minnesota Vikings (8-3) in another great game for week 13. In our Monday Night Football matchup, The MVP candidate Russell Wilson could have some struggles against the Minnesota Defense. I don’t think the Seahawks have a good roster, but boy do they win the game. It doesn’t matter how they just win. Russell Wilson and he alone is the only reason for that. The Seahawks will have trouble containing Dalvin Cook though. He deserves to be in the MVP conversation at least. The Vikings also have a decent passing attack that the Seahawks should be scared about. With all this being said about the Seahawks, none of it matters if the Vikings can’t stop Russell Wilson. If they stop that guy, they win this game, if they don’t, they don’t win. It’s as simple as that. I think they can do it, give me the Vikings.

Final Prediction: Minnesota Vikings 26, Seattle Seahawks 24
