The Pick Em Challenge is here again for another week of bad beats (most likely). Last week had some great games though. However, we’ll try yet again to get ahead this week. I am 12-20 on the season and Krieger is 14-18. Oh I know it’s not great, but it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
Pick Em Challenge Thursday Night Football
Krieger: Carolina -7.5
Fontanello: Carolina -7.5
Carolina travels to Houston to take on the Texans on Thursday night. I love this game. Why do you ask? Because Sam Darnold is the truth he’s escaped the Gase of Hell and is going to have a great season. Tyrod Taylor is on the IR and the Texans are not turning to Deshaun Watson. This means the Panthers are going to roll in this one.
Pick Em Challenge 1:00 PM Games
Krieger: Los Angeles Chargers +6.5
Fontanello: Kansas City -6.5
The Chiefs coming home off a loss is exactly what this team needs. The Chargers are coming off a bad loss to the Washington Football Team and this is not the get-right game. Chiefs are going to roll in this one looking to put Week 2 behind them.
Krieger: Chicago +7
Fontanello: Cleveland -7
The Browns are at home taking on the Chicago Bears in Justin Fields’ first start. This, however, is not a great matchup for Fields to start his career. The Browns are a good team and if they score early and bludgeon the Bears with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt this game will get ugly.
Krieger: Arizona -7.5
Fontanello: Arizona -7.5
The Arizona Cardinals escaped the Vikings at home. Now they fly to Florida to take on the Jags. This spells disaster for the Jags as they are 0-2 and have to play one of the league’s hottest offenses. This just isn’t their year. I expect the Cards to take care of business in this one.
Krieger: Buffalo -7.5

Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills! The Bills made a major statement last week as they crushed the Dolphins in Miami. The Bills are playing a Washington Football Team that barely escaped the Giants (Total bull shit) may I add. The Bills crush this team.
Krieger: Indinanapolis +5.5
Fontanello: Tennessee -5.5
The Tennessee Titans are taking on the Indianapolis Colts in Tennessee. The Colts have been a disappointment this season, no question about it. To make matters worse Carson Wentz hurt not one, but both of his ankles. He will probably play. However, who knows how he’ll play and the Titans are coming off a huge win in Seattle.
Krieger: New York Giants -3
Fontanello: Atlanta +3
The Atlanta Falcons are coming to New York to take on the Giants. I hate the Giants and I do not trust them to cover when they are the favorites. I don’t really trust Atlanta either, but judging by power rankings this line should be +1. Going off of that take Atlanta.
Krieger: New Orleans +3
Fontanello: New Orleans +3
New Orleans goes up to Foxborough to face the Patriots. The Patriots just beat up the Jets like they always do. Meanwhile, the Saints got their faces kicked in by the Panthers which was a bit of a surprise. I think that won’t happen again. I do like the Saints here as underdogs.
Krieger: Baltimore -8

The Ravens are taking on the Lions in Detriot after a big win at home. However, I really don’t see the Lions being an issue in this game of course they have been banging on that backdoor through the first two weeks. Nevertheless, I think the Ravens roll here.
Krieger: Pittsburgh -3
Fontanello: Cinncinati +3
The Bengals are an interesting team here at +3. Going into Pittsburgh it will be no easy feat, however, I believe this team will put up a good fight and cover. Big Ben is nursing a pec injury and there’s no telling what shape he’ll be in. Division game anything can happen and I think the Bengals are a good play here.
Pick Em Challenge 4:25 PM Games
Krieger: New York Jets +11
Fontanello: New York Jets +11
The Jets are terrible that is true. However, we’re going to use straight rankings here this line is way too good to pass up. Based on my calculations this line should be more near +8.5, meaning I actually really like the Jets. This most likely will bite me in the ass, but screw it let’s give it a go.
Krieger: Las Vegas -4
Fontanello: Miami +4
The Dolphins suffered a big blow with Tua going down. The Raiders have surprised a lot of people with two really good wins early on this season. However, how will the Raiders play when they are the favorites? That remains to be seen. For now, I like Miami to put up a much better effort than last week.
Krieger: Tampa Bay -1.5
Fontanello: Los Angeles Rams +1.5
A true test for the Bucs this week when they travel to LA. The Bucs are good but so are the Rams. Both teams play defense, score in bunches, and make little mistakes. I like taking the underdog in games like this especially at home so I’ll take the Rams here.
Krieger: Seattle -1.5
Fontanello: Seattle -1.5
Seattle is coming off a bad loss in which they really let the Titans back into the game. The Vikings are just straight assholes for backdooring last week. Let’s hope the Seahawks take this one easy.
Sunday Night Football
Krieger: Green Bay +3.5
Fontanello: Green Bay +3.5
The Packers are going on the road to play the one team that gives Aaron Rodgers the most trouble. I normally love the Niners, but the Packers as an underdog I’ll take that all day.
Monday Night Football
Krieger: Philadelphia +4
Fontanello: Philadelphia +4
The Eagles in a division game is a good play. The Cowboys had a good day on Sunday against the Chargers. However, the Eagles played Dallas well last year and I like taking the underdog here.
That’s the picks for this week let’s hope I get my record better. Adam will probably end up cleaning up this week but we will see. Anyway, enjoy the games and happy betting.
