I don’t understand the Kyrie Irving free agency rumors. I never have. Kyrie is going to consider the Knicks? Kyrie is going to consider the Nets? Does anyone know how laughable that sounds! In fact, I wrote an entire in-depth piece why those things make zero sense. Has the entire Knicks fan base developed some sort of a severe case of amnesia? If you were still contemplating whether Kyrie would actually consider leaving the Celtics then you might want to change your opinion.

Marcus Smart might legitimately be the Knicks best player this upcoming season if he played for New York! He won’t even start for the Celtics.
Winning is the most important thing to Kyrie despite what you might think. Leaving LeBron was a no-brainer. LeBron makes all of his teammates worse so it was no surprise that Kyrie put up his most efficient season of his career during his first year in Boston despite struggling with injuries for the entire season.
