Kevin Durant Explained Why NO ONE Wants To Play With LeBron James

Kevin Durant is the best basketball player in the world. The difference between Kevin Durant and LeBron James is very simple. James makes all of his teammates worse. Durant fits into any team like a glove. The LeBron fanboys always find someone else to blame. LeBron James came to the Lakers with the hopes of luring another star teammate. Paul George turned him down to stay with Russell Westbrook, neither of which are attractive options so he took more money. Some media members have tried to lure Durant to LA to join James next summer. Luckily, Durant took some time out to explain to the LeBron fanboys that NO ONE wants to play with LeBron.

The following is from Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report:

“It depends on what kind of player you are,” Durant said. “If you’re Kyle Korver, then it makes sense. Because Kyle Korver in Atlanta was the bulk of the offense, and he’s not a No. 1 option at all, not even close. So his talents benefit more from a guy who can pass and penetrate and get him open.

“If you’re a younger player like a Kawhi, trying to pair him with LeBron James doesn’t really make sense. Kawhi enjoys having the ball in his hands, controlling the offense, dictating the tempo with his post-ups; it’s how he plays the game. A lot of young players are developing that skill. They don’t need another guy.”

“Kevin Love, he had to totally change his game to fit, to be a shooter,” Durant said. “Which, I think, he deserves way more credit for switching his game. Bosh, same way. LeBron is a player that needs to play with guys that already know how they play the game—and shooters. Like, young players that are still developing, it’s always going to be hard because he demands the ball so much, he demands control of the offense and he creates for everybody.”

“So much hype comes from being around LeBron from other people,” Durant said. “He has so many fanboys in the media. Even the beat writers just fawn over him. I’m like, we’re playing basketball here, and it’s not even about basketball at certain points. So I get why anyone wouldn’t want to be in that environment because it’s toxic. Especially when the attention is bulls–t attention, fluff. It’s not LeBron’s fault at all; it’s just the fact you have so many groupies in the media that love to hang on every word. Just get out of the way and let us play basketball.”

Thank you, Kevin. This is exactly what I have been saying forever. LeBron can’t play with stars. He only works with shooters who don’t need the ball. He plays an elementary style of basketball. There is no motion. No cuts. Nothing. It’s LeBron holding the ball with everyone standing around waiting for him to pass. That’s it. It’s like playing backyard basketball where that one annoying kid thinks he’s better than everyone and just does everything.

It’s been statistically proven that LeBron makes his teammates worse. Don’t try to argue it. Kevin Love was one of the top 5-10 players in the sport. His stock went into the depths of hell because LeBron needs shooters and Kevin Love was a guy who was mean mugging in the post. Love lost 100 pounds and tried to become Kyle Korver. Look at what has happened to Kyrie since leaving LeBron. He’s an MVP candidate compared to constantly being criticized for not improving.

Once again, LeBron is ruining Brandon Ingram. Look at what has happened. Ingram’s stock has tumbled with LeBron. It’s a shame because now people want Ingram traded but LeBron has always been the issue. I hope people are starting to learn the truth about LeBron. Durant is too intelligent to fall into that trap. He’s not becoming a Laker. Nor is Kawhi Leonard. Once again, Durant will outshine LeBron in the playoffs for the third straight year.
