Mitchell Trubisky is terrible. Anyone with half a brain can easily see that. Some of the idiots have been fooled into thinking that he’s been competent by Matt Nagy’s smoke and mirrors offense. It’s a joke college offense that won’t last long. Finally, someone who is intelligent (other than myself) decided to spread the truth about the Bears quarterback.
Current Ringer employee and former NFL general manager Michael Lombardi shared his opinion about Mitchell Trubisky:
“You couldn’t get me to buy Mitchell Trubisky if you had him on a discount rack at Filene’s Basement,” Lombardi said. “There’s no chance. There’s no chance. He can’t throw the ball inbounds half the time.”
“It’s a joke. I was in Chicago this week and all I saw was Trubisky jerseys. I was thinking you people are crazy! You’re going to be selling them in three years.
“When they have to play somebody tough, I think it’s a real problem…I think the Bears are overvalued.”
Thank you, Mr. Lombardi, for having a brain. I said it before and I’ll say it again. I wouldn’t have taken Mitchell Trubisky until the 6th round. He’s clearly way, way worse than Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes. He can’t hit the broad side of a barn. His feet aren’t tied to his hands. It’s just ugly.
Anonymous NFL Executive Believes Mitch Trubisky Has More Potential Than Carson Wentz
Don’t get me wrong, Matt Nagy deserves a ton of credit. He’s done his best to script a ton of open throws. You can make the case that he’s been a top 3 play caller in the NFL this year. Forget whatever the stats say and watch the games. This Trubisky thing is nothing more than a flash in the pan that won’t last long once NFL defenses catch up because they are being outschemed, not outplayed. If the Bears make the playoffs this year, Matt Nagy is the lock for coach of the year.
