Class of ’22 Five-Star PG Jaden Bradley Commits to Alabama
Five-star point guard Jaden Bradley has committed to Alabama, per ESPN’s Paul Biancardi. Bradley is the first commit for Crimson Tide head coach Nate Oats in the 2022 recruiting class. The 6-3 floor general chose Alabama over Arizona, Florida State, Kentucky and Gonzaga.
The Charlotte, North Carolina native is a consensus top-three point guard in the country, with ESPN slotting him in as the best at his position in his class. As is the case with many top talents in prep basketball today, Bradley loves to play fast. He likes to get downhill and can finish at the rim or create looks for his teammates. Crimson Tide fans should expect the ball to be in his hands from the moment he steps foot on-campus in Tuscaloosa next season.
Oats has devoted himself to playing a fast-paced, NBA-esque style of basketball, that Bradley’s father, Nathan, said was a main attraction for his son.
“I think one of the things that stands out is their NBA style of play. The drills they run in practice are conducive for the way they play the game. They’ll run a transition drill and have a second transition drill back the other way and you’ve got to get that shot off within less than 10 seconds … eight seconds … seven seconds … so they’re getting shots off. They’re getting quality shots. They’re moving the basketball, pick and roll, spacing is huge.”

The IMG Academy product will likely be in the ear of fellow five-star teammate Jarace Walker who is considering Alabama along with Auburn, Ohio State and Houston, among others.
