Billy Eppler Should Be Thrown In Prison

Billy Eppler Should Be Thrown In Prison

Trey was right. The New York Mets have officially been eliminated from the 2022 MLB Playoffs and it’s totally their fault. The Mets pissed off the baseball karma gods again and in a predictable fashion, they’re going home well before they should be. Of course, it didn’t need to be this way. However, now that it happened… THROW BILLY EPPLER IN PRISON!

The script wrote itself. Jacob deGrom saved the series from becoming embarrassing. Otherwise, the Mets found a way to botch a rotation that also featured Max Scherzer. It also featured a team with Pete Alonso who hit 40 home runs and the NL batting champ Jeff McNeil. At the end of the day, the season ends with a 6-0 loss to an 89-win Padres team.

They didn’t just lose, the Mets lost the series-deciding game 3 and recorded just one total hit. Somehow it’s worse than that. The Trumpets played for Edwin Diaz while down 4-0. Buck Showalter pulled a grampa Simpson and demanded Joe Musgrove’s ears be checked simply because he was shoving it down your throat. Keep in mind, this team was so arrogant that they almost didn’t pitch deGrom in the series because they were looking ahead. This Padres team was deemed as a warm up.

Don’t ask me why Steve Cohen didn’t call me. Don’t ask me why he gave the job instead to a guy who inherited Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout while failing to win a single playoff series. None of this is surprising. Walked out of the deadline minnows. We don’t need to go over it again. I already did months ago when I declared your season dead. Today it just became official.

This could have been a Mets year. Trey would have won this title. Instead, another owner that’s too ignorant to call me suffers the consequences.

Do you think Uncle Steve will call me this offseason or will he let that great idiot tank his team into oblivion? Tune in this Winter to find out.
